From January to March 2014, the total import and export volume of molds in China reached 1.807 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 18.11%, and the growth rate showed a steady development trend. Among them, the total import value was 686 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 14.42%; The total export value was 1.121 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 19.40%. 

(1) According to the type of mold, the import and export volume of plastic and rubber molds accounts for 44.48% and 64.92%, respectively, while the import and export volume of stamping dies accounts for 45.18% and 19.11%, respectively. 

(3) According to the source of export goods, the export molds mainly come from Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Yunnan, with an export value of 835 million US dollars, accounting for 74.48% of the total export value. 

(4) According to the destination of imports, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Yunnan, Shanghai, and Tianjin have the highest imports, with an import value of 456 million US dollars, accounting for 66.40% of the total import value. 

(5) According to the source of imported goods, the imported molds mainly come from South Korea, Japan, the Taiwan Penghu Kinmen Matsu tariff zone in China, Germany, and Italy, with an import value of 532 million US dollars, accounting for 77.56% of the total import value.
